Level Programming Intermediate

7 to 11 years old

We will use the  Code Builderprogramming environment of the educational version of Minecraft as a tool to create increasingly complex programming structures. To do this, we will make modifications to 3D worlds (instant constructions, super powers, animal rains...), using loops, conditionals, variables and more to achieve this. In this extracurricular programming activity we will go from being consumers of video games to creators of stories, mechanics and game dynamics with Makecode Arcade, a video game development tool that is based on programming blocks and pixel art aesthetics, to create true playable works of art and develop critical, computational and spatial thinking.
