International Program: 1st Quarter of the 2018-19 academic year
Selected theme Halloween – Day of the Dead – All Saints
In November we successfully completed our first Project within the International Program.
During it we worked around the theme of Halloween with different materials in each school: LEGO®(mindstorms, Simple and motorized machines y Build to Express), Scratch, mbot, MICROBIT, Makey Makey, 3D design, among others. The children built witches, ghosts, pumpkins and bats. They shared what they created with students from other Spanish schools and from different countries through the Circuit platform. In the last month they introduced themselves, chatted and sent photos and videos. They did everything using English as their vehicular language.
On some occasions and according to time possibilities, they were encouraged to communicate by videoconference, meeting the children on the other side of the live screen! The experience has been excellent, they were delighted, curious and super motivated. We are already preparing for the next international project in January, while we share our work and Christmas ideas! We want more and more schools to be connected, sharing their projects and building their learning together. You can see some of the work carried out in the image gallery.
