1st Term




In this first trimester we will enter the fantastic world of robotics, by understanding what a robot essentially is, what it is capable of doing and learning to recognize its main components and their names in English.
In this way, we incorporate and learn basic mechanical knowledge that allows us to give mobility and versatility to our models, adding new functionalities to solve construction challenges.
We will progressively have more knowledge to design our robots so that they perform certain tasks such as travelling from one point to another, overcoming elevations, moving obstacles or even transporting loads. In the first phase we focus on the structures and mechanical components and once assimilated we introduce a small electric motor.
In some robotics groups at this level, we also work with Neuron kits for introduction to basic electronics and sensors that allow us to experiment intuitively with models that can be interacted with when someone approaches or produce sounds and lights to give feedback that the connections were made correctly.
Our learning objective is that during this initial period we lay the foundations of the language in order to be able to develop more flexible and creative projects in which we can apply everything we have learnt.
