1st Term

At High School level we work on robotics in Robotics Club mode, that is, a freer mode of experimentation in which we consolidate previously acquired knowledge and, above all, we stimulate the technological creativity of our students so that they can make their maker ideas a reality.
To do this, we do an initial review of the mechanical principles applied to robots and the English names of the different parts and components, making clear how they work and what their interrelation is. From this point on, we train in depth to get the most out of our models, whether they are Makeblock Mbot or LEGO Mindstorm EV3, both in terms of mechanisation and the creation of increasingly interesting and complex programmes.
In short, we exercise ourselves to think as an engineer would: understanding exactly what the objective is that we must achieve, decomposing the problems into simpler questions, defining the tasks to be carried out and beginning to create small prototypes that will perform the functions that we need, whether it is a simple accessory or the complete robot.
It is super fun and educational to see how these customized creations perform in real action: it gives us the opportunity to learn how to improve a lot of things and understand how we can overcome difficulties – a real learning experience for life!
Igniter Attitude
You have started the course with a very good behavior and a great desire to learn technology!
