1ts Term

In this beginning stage of the course, we will lay the foundations to start programming, incorporating basic instructions in English and learning to use commonly used logical structures.
To do this, we will start from a block programming environment called MakeCode Arcade, designed to easily create classic console video games, but with the necessary flexibility to develop complex projects.
We start with a clicker, a very fun project in which players must be the fastest to press the key to get the highest score. This way that we use a few programming modules, and it is possible to concentrate on them to understand how they work.
In this way, we will become familiar with the creation of characters and settings for our adventures, learning what a pixel, a sprite or a background layer is. For all of this to work, we will also have begun to explore some basic concepts of block programming, such as events and character behaviours, while acquiring new programming vocabulary in English.
One of the most important concepts in programming is flow control. Flow control includes the use of repetitions or loops, adding, pausing or creating the correct conditions for our program to work. Soon we will develop more flexible and creative projects in which we can apply everything we have learnt. Do you want to try our first games?
Igniter Attitude
You have started the course with a very good behavior and a great desire to learn technology!
