1st Term



During this first term, we have focused on developing the basics necessary for design and programming in a 3D environment. We have had the opportunity to create a variety of three-dimensional figures in Tinkercad, an online tool that allows us to design extraordinary models of objects and parts by combining other simpler elements (geometric figures).
From Tinkercad, we transfer our creations to CoSpaces, a platform that allows us to create virtual scenarios with behaviours similar to real life. In this way we have even created an intricate chain reaction system consisting of slides, actuators, domino pieces and coloured balls.
Our learning objective is during this initial period we lay the foundations in order to be able to develop more flexible and creative projects in which we can apply everything we have learnt. As you may know, our methodology not only seeks to develop our STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths), but also to promote key interpersonal skills.
By developing these projects we have been acquiring the basic vocabulary and the necessary skills to enable us to program in English, create our own graphic adventures and design new scenarios with a higher level of interactivity in the future. The new year will be full of new surprises!
